Mr. Moseley is an expert in the field of clinical toxicology and pharmacogenomics laboratory development, management, workflow and clinical assay methodology. He leads a highly experienced team of geneticists, clinical toxicologists, lab directors and compliance managers who have designed, built and continue to manage more than a dozen clinical labs across the United States. Over the last 15 years Mr. Moseley has been involved in the field of toxicology, with the last 8 specifically focused in the arena of clinical laboratory testing instrumentation and methodologies. In that time, he was responsible for both creating and improving some of the proprietary, clinically approved, high complexity LC/MS toxicology applications commonly used by some of the largest reference laboratories in the United States. Leveraging this expertise and experience, Mr. Moseley and the Merit team have developed Merit’s new high throughput, high complexity LC/MS methodology for Physician Office Labs (POL) and hospital clients. Mr. Moseley earned his BS degree in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University (Magna Cum Laude) and his MS Chemistry from Vanderbilt University. He wrote his thesis and co-authored publications on the structural analysis of DNA carcinogenic adducts by nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectrometry. He enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and children.
